"Bully" Wins Jury Award
Congratulations to the cast and crew of our short film project "Bully" for winning the Jury Award at WonderRoot's Generally Local, Mostly Independent Film Series 2017.
The film screened on Thursday March 23 at 7 Stages Theater in Little Five Points, Atlanta. "Bully" screened among a lineup of ten other independently produced films of all genres and styles including narrative and experimental films.
Writer, Producer and Director Alex Preston accepted the Jury Award on behalf of the cast & crew of "Bully." The award was presented by Atlanta entertainment journalist and culture editor Gavin Godfrey.
"The winners of the evening reflected the spirit of diversity and unity to which WonderRoot aspires. Bully, which Godfrey humorously referred to as “the White Moonlight,” by Savannah College of Art and Design student Alex Preston was the guest judge’s selection."
